MICRONEEDLING SERVICES

Information on Microneedling treatment.

Microneedling is a procedure use to treat different skin conditions. The technique involves using multiple tiny, sterile needles to puncture the skin and create a controlled skin injury in order to rejuvenate skin.

EDS MICRONEEDLING

EDS Microneedling is an advanced, electronic, micro-skin needling treatment, which stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally, resulting in smoother, brighter, younger and healthier looking skin.

Professional skin-needling is an established clinically proven procedure and has remarkable results in significantly improving the appearance of acne scars, hyperpigmentation caused by sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles and stretch marks.

The EDS Rejuvenate system has a generally good comfort level, however, this will normally be made more comfortable by numbing the skin using a topical anaesthetic beforehand. Following this, the needling pen is used to produce thousands of micro-medical needle columns in the skin, and a serum will also be used to help the handpiece glide on the skin. The treatment will take around 30-60 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

Immediately after your EDS Rejuvenate treatment you will look as though you have moderate sunburn, and your skin may feel warmer and tighter than usual. To assist your skin in its recovery you practitioner may apply a post-procedure product.
A course of microneedling treatments may be suggested depending on the condition being treated, but expect at least three treatments with approximately 6 weeks apart.

The results may take a little time to show, this could be up to 3 months. However, the results you see over time will look natural and be long lasting.

Cost: £140 (first treatment) including a moisturiser to take home.
